Fairtrade Frome welcomes David Heath MP

David Heath MP was very happy to attend Fairtrade Frome’s pop-up cafe recently, something that has become an annual tradition.

David enjoyed some fairly traded coffee whilst discussing a range of issues with local people, including how to achieve fairer milk prices and how Somerset farmers themselves can get a better deal.

‘I’m delighted to celebrate 10 years of Fairtrade Frome, it’s something I have supported right from day one.’ said Mr Heath.

‘I am very pleased to be part of a community which recognises the needs of people far less fortunate in other parts of the world and is determined to offer them a fair deal.’

David attended the event after his monthly surgery in Frome, one of many that he holds each month across the constituency.
